The easiest way to get out east is by flying into John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) or Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP). If you're flying into JFK, you can take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) directly to the East Hampton station. Tickets can be purchased through the MTA app, and the journey takes approximately 2.5 hours.

Alternatively, you can rent a car from JFK, ISP, or LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and drive to the Hamptons. The drive typically takes around 3 hours, and with September being the off-season, traffic is usually lighter than during the summer months.
